Chartered in October 1971, this was the pilot program for Sertoma's ongoing mission of providing housing for "Seniors". A few Sertoma Club members signed personal notes to raise money for this facility. Once in place, financial support was sought and obtained from Federal housing programs. Sertoma Senior Housing is a one story, 27 apartment complex, intended for seniors who qualify for assistance in meeting their rental expenses. Many apartments have patio doors, flower beds, and large landscaped lawn areas that are maintained by Sertoma. Physically self sufficient individuals; men, women, and couples; who are 62 years of age or older with income limitations find the Sertoma Senior Housing an island of safety and security.

These 27 apartments share the same amenities, comforts and services as the Sempiternal apartments.
