Sertoma West was developed to provide for those Seniors of independent means that do not meet the criteria for the Senior Citizen Housing or Sempiternal properties. Amenities and services are identical to all of the other facilities, and can be modified to meet any special or individual needs.

Riverton Sertoma Foundation offers two alternative living accommodations for the people over the age of fifty-five.

In 1993 Riverton Sertoma began development of Sertoma West, a 40 acre complex with independent living units and personal care apartments. With the completion of the second phase of the personal care apartments in 1998, there is now a total of 43 apartments. In addition to a pool table and fish tank, there is a beauty shop and exercise room.

On the same 40 acre complex are located custom stick built duplexes. Choose from the many floor plans that we have or design your own. We have some residences that were constructed to match floor plans of past favorite homes. All duplexes have one or two car garages and patios. These residences are surrounded by large landscaped lawns that are maintained by Sertoma.

The ownership of property is conveyed via a leasehold interest. This interest can be assigned conditioned upon the assignee's obligation to comply with the restrictive covenants applicable to the development of Riverton Sertoma West, which is dedicated as an adult residential community.
